Tasks:
� swap of Personal Computers and Notebooks
� hardware break & fix services (hardware will be provided by customer)

Service Level Agreement:

Requested:

The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is an international scientific research organization with the main laboratory situated in Heidelberg, Germany and four Outstations. The EMBL Outstation in Grenoble employs 85 people and has a world-wide reputation for research and service activities in structural molecular biology. It shares a common site with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) and the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL).

The Outstation in Grenoble is seeking to recruit a Administrative Services Manager (Senior Administrative Officer) to head the administrative team at the outstation. The post holder will be responsible for the management, organization and delivery of all administrative services at the outstation. S/he will ensure that the services are performed in an effective and efficient manner and within all legislative, policy and procedural guidelines. S/he will report to the Head of the Grenoble Outstation and have a close working relationship with the central units under the Administrative Director at EMBL main Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany
Qualifications and experience: Applicants should have an advanced university degree in Business Administration, Law or Public Management, have at least 7 years of progressively responsible international experience in a senior administrative position. S/he should be capable of adopting a forward looking and solution oriented attitude within the context of international administration. The post holder should have demonstrated managerial competences (including finance, human resources and legal aspects) in a multi-national environment, enjoy working independently as well as possess excellent communication and networking skills. S/he has an analytical and numerical mindset with attention to detail. Fluency in spoken and written English and French is essential for this position; a working knowledge in German would be an asset.
S/he should have very good computer skills. Knowledge of SAP and of research grant management would be an advantage.

Contract: An initial contract of 3 years� duration will be offered to the successful candidate. This can be renewed, depending on circumstances at the time of the review.

Description:
Eden Scott's client provides clinical services to the global pharmaceutical and life sciences community. They offer a broad range of services covering all stages from pre-clinical trials to formulation and all points in between. This role, which can be based anywhere in France, would involve working closely with existing customers to expand the range of services they procure and to work closely with your colleagues to ensure excellent delivery of these services.

The successful candidate will have a graduate level background in a clinical/scientific discipline and be fluent in French and English. They must have an excellent track record in sales or account management with the ability to grow and develop long-term relationships. They must have a "can do" attitude and take ownership of all levels of the customer relationship, working closely with colleagues to create a seamless business offering.

The candidate must be highly driven and focussed with a real desire to differentiate our clients business on a whole range of measures. Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills are essential. The package on offer is negotiable but will be highly attractive and offer both an excellent salary and achievable, high-level bonuses.

Based in France you will advise on and facilitate organisation design processes, taking into account a series of design aspects including: role of department, its work processes, jobs/positions and reporting lines, leadership, culture, infrastructure and work environment.

Supporting the business in the implementation of new organisation design, in partnering with others in HR; you will be involved in the implementation of process change within finance departments and supporting the managers through the process changes.

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide general advice to large change efforts (business and culture), though developing approaches and tools, sharing best practices and providing support and ideas to leaders of change in the business.

Providing support to strategic communication activities (e.g. comms planning, developing approaches and channels), including advice and provision of tools and techniques.

This OD Division support is always pan international in nature and not associated solely with one country project. Their support includes business issue diagnosis, consulting, coaching and facilitation (process and content). We offer expertise, provide processes (ways to do the work) and tools.

The main aim is to build capability in the businesses we work with, not dependency and working in partnership with the business, providing connectivity with others such as experts in HR and elsewhere.
