The Role

Bloomberg is looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial sales person to join the Bloomberg Content Acquisition team in Asia. The Content Acquisition group is responsible for obtaining all OTC pricing and research provided on the Bloomberg Professional Service.

This client-facing role is specifically focused on acquiring OTC data and content for the Bloomberg covering all aspects of the OTC financial product across the Asia. Strong sales experience and a solid understanding of the Financial products will allow you to quickly add value to the team and the sales process.

Day to day responsibilities will include utilizing your own resources, as well as our terminal sales force, to identify valuable data providers in the market, develop appropriate sales strategies and execute these aggressively to secure data and content. Responsibilities will also include managing existing accounts and working closely with internal Business Units and Technology to push product development. This position is based in Hong Kong with some traveling required.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Financial market
- Strong financial knowledge and market understanding
- Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to effectively prospect and build lasting relationships
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Fluency in both English and Korean is required; ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
