The Role

The Fixed Income department collects and analyzes a wide range of data which forms the basis of the Bloomberg Fixed Income product. This includes the monitoring and maintenance of new corporate bonds, government auctions, money markets, league tables, corporate actions, as well as customer support for the product.

As a Fixed Income Analyst you will be responsible for timely, accurate and comprehensive coverage of Fixed Income products in Asian regions. You will work closely with Sales, News, Business, R&D and the Global Fixed Income Data teams to coordinate coverage and ensure consistency of standards as well as to continually develop the Fixed Income product.

Responsibilities will also include trouble-shooting calculation errors, researching new calc models and assisting with the testing of models in development. The successful candidate will be well versed in price/yield, accrued interest and cash flow projection models for a wide range of fixed income products including inflation-linked securities, emerging markets and structured notes.

Qualifications

- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Fixed Income markets
- Strong knowledge of fixed income principles/calculations is imperative for this role
