Role propose:
• Proactively penetrate the mid market sector and achieve pre-defined sales (margin) targets.
• Sell all of Insights capabilities to the highest level, whilst owning all aspects of the Key Account Relationships and provision of services.
Accountabilities & responsibilities:
• Meet or exceed defined objectives and targets for profitable sales.
• Identify sales opportunities within all areas of the SMB sector, but with specific focus on high end SMB.
• Present quarterly business plan to Sales Director.
• Present Insights strategic proposition with a view to securing contractual and non-contractual business.
• Ensure all opportunities are qualified, proposed and converted.
• Engage with and maintain KEY relationships within the assigned accounts.
• Communicate weekly accurate, realistic up to date forecasts.
• Build business pipeline to achieve monthly targets.
• Provide monthly commit achievement figure against appointed accounts.
• Manage and deliver against pre-defined margin targets.
• Engage with Insights specialist sales teams where appropriate to sell value services.
• Communicate special arrangements for clients to relevant service delivery functions.
• Where applicable, develop KEY alliance relationships with manufacturers.
• Achieve monthly financial targets and strategic sales objectives.
• Ownership of account planning requirements for each account.
• Document all client meetings.
• Co-ordinate back office functions.
• Ensure clients 60 day debt is no greater than 5% overall
• Secure new clients and win back lost clients.
• The role, responsibilities and geographical focus will change and develop over time along with the company’s rapid growth
Key Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years Business to Business sales experience
• Proven client facing skills
• Highly organised
• Ability to deal with a range of stake holders.
• Competent in the production of account plans.
• Strong solution sales background.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Outstanding presenter
• Clean driving licence
