We are seeking an experienced Strategic Accounts Manager responsible for developing PV and Engineering-Procurement-and-Construction (EPC) contracts sale with industrial accounts and/or independent power producers in the French market. He/She will be responsible for growing and managing relationships with customers producing annual revenues in the order of $50M - $100+M.

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; capable of developing existing relationships with our client base and has the vision and experience to identify growth potential opportunities with new accounts/market segments.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for all facets of photovoltaic components and systems sales including but not limited to:

• Achieve quarterly and yearly sales quotas
• Analyze French solar market, competitive product landscape for industrial accounts and independent power producers
•Develop tactical sales execution plans
•Work with proposal team to generate technical & commercial offers
•Lead EPC and PV contract negotiations in coordination in-house legal team
•Identify and influence key deal decision makers including project developers, equity investors and financial institutions
•Maintain contact with financing institutions to understand critical aspects concerning project bankability
•Perform customer needs assessments and mappings
•Work closely with the Marketing Department and National Sales Manager to develop marketing plans
•Assessing market conditions to identify necessary product and service offering modifications

Education and Experience

•B.S. in a technical area (experience with energy related products preferred).
• 5 - 10 years experience in a closely related industry involving complex sales over 9 -12 month sales cycles
•Demonstrated ability to close large size contracts involving turn-key construction and third-party financing
• Proven ability to drive aggressive sales growth and meet targets
• Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Fluency in French and English is required.

•Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•Demonstrated ability to interface effectively in a multi-location / cross-functional organization
•Basic financial analysis experience to assess project investment returns
•Fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•Up to 40% overnight travel
